The end of the paper edits are so close.
But, I seem to have a problem.
I mean, I was on a roll. Each day I would pick up those papers and edit, edit, edit until I could edit no further and then I would transfer all those edits into the computer and make the story shine.
Now, I have but a few pages to go and I'm at a standstill.
I look at those papers and suddenly I have something much more important to do.
Like laundry.
What I don't know is if its because I'm apprehensive about writing what comes next or if I actually don't like the last part and need to rewrite it.
At least I recognize it as something my brain is trying to tell me is wrong except this time I'm not sure WHICH thing.
Here's hoping that I figure it out before I blow a blood vessel!

Thanks for the plug for the Challenge!
At least you know something is amiss. Just let it sit a while - it will come to you.
Are you feeling some trepidation at being almost finished with editing because that means you have to move on to the next step, which is a step closer to submitting which is a step closer to putting the process in someone else's control?
Yoooo can dooo eeeet!!
Keep moving forward!
K.
i am the opposite, i rish through the end because, 1) its the climax and 2) must get it over with already!
you can do it!
and the a to z fest will be excellent, dude!
I have the same problem. I drag my feet when I come to crucial parts of my manuscripts--especially the endings. So you're not alone.
I'm signed up for A to Z. I had no idea they were on Twitter and FB. Thanks for the info!
Alex - From your lips to my muse's ears!
K. - I hope you didn't hit the nail on the head this time. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot this time.
Tara - That's my problem. I don't know the ending till I write it. I don't know what's going to happen. I think that scares the crap out of me.
Susan - I'm glad I'm not alone but it does make for some nervous days.
Thanks for stopping in.
